Following these 3 days rich in business deals, encounters, exchanges of views and interesting discoveries, Funéraire Paris 2011 has reinforced its position as the leading trade show of the funeral sector in Europe.
Funéraire Paris 2011 reinforces its position as leader
• 229 exhibitors
• 25% of foreign companies representing 14 countries (Austria, Belgium, China,
Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Hong Kong, Italy, Netherlands,
Portugal, Spain, United Kingdom, USA)
• 34% of new exhibitors
• All the sectors represented
• 5,920 visits: stability of visitors compared to 2009 which was an excellent year.

The rich variety of the offer much appreciated
Funéraire Paris 2011 proposed an exhaustive showcase of the products and services dedicated to the professionals of the sector. The visitors were able to discover the trends and innovations that will count on the funeral market over the next two years. A prominent new trend is the growing importance of the personalization of the ceremonies, the use of colour (for the plaques, urns, coffins, etc.), as well as simpler lines and new shapes from the world of design.
Also worth noting is the particularly rich offer in terms of ecological funerals; the first entirely electric hearse was also presented during the trade show. Likewise, the entry of digital technology and the Web in the funeral sector with “virtual cemeteries” and QR codes (for mobile phone apps) on the gravestones...

A place for exchanges of view and reflection
Funéraire Paris 2011 was also a forum for exchanges of views and information which gave a new boost to its meeting places.
The trade show went beyond its commercial mission by setting up a programme of lectures-debates on the issues and new developments in the profession. Thanks to the backing of its partners in the trade press and professional organisations, Funéraire Paris 2011 demonstrated a truly convivial and constructive dynamism.

The next gathering will be in November 2013...
